  • How much does it cost to open a STABLE account through Vermont ABLE?

    There is no fee to open an account. However, you’ll need to make an initial deposit of at least $25 to get started and a $1 minimum for any contribution or withdrawal after that. Additionally, there are some minimal fees that apply to all accounts.

  • How much money can I put on the card?

    You can load as much or as little as you need up to $20,000. However, the maximum load limit per day is $5,000.

  • How often can I load the card?

    There is no limit to the number of times you can load your card. However, withdrawals from a STABLE account to any STABLE Visa® Card may not exceed $5,000 per day and $20,000 per month.
